Fundraising Events and Requesting a Donation from State Bank

Cookin’ for a Cause

One of our most popular events is Cookin’ for a Cause. This is a fundraiser in which community members can enjoy lunch with a free-will donation to a selected charity. It's a terrific chance for us to help out a variety of local organizations, with a matching donation from State Bank. Food for YOU, funds for CHARITY...what could be better?!?!

As part of this effort, State Bank has been able to help raise more than $26,000 for 14 organizations. We’re excited to keep these totals growing with our 2016 Cookin’ for a Cause event series. Please consider supporting an event near you!

Donation Policy

State Bank is committed to fostering the growth and development of the community and customers in the markets we serve. In other words, helping our communities grow is important to us! As a locally-owned community bank, we are built on a foundation of giving back and enhancing the wellbeing of the communities we serve.

AREAS OF GIVING

State Bank predominately supports capital and building campaigns for local non-profit groups, schools and other organizations. Requests for programming and operational expenses will be considered, but are not the focus of our bank’s goals.

In general, we do not provide funding to:

Individuals
Private foundations
Political or religious organizations
Organizations whose activities extend beyond our immediate market areas
Non-client centered overhead expenses
Requests that pose a conflict of interest to State Bank

All donation requests are reviewed and evaluated by State Bank. If you have a cause that falls within the guidelines of State Bank’s Donation Policy, please submit a Donation Request Application to be considered.
